Electronic smart tickets boast new attractive design. First batch of new e-tickets presents traditional panorama view of Riga.
Starting from January, new e-tickets with a much more attractive design, presenting various photo views of Riga, will be put into circulation. The first batch of the new e-tickets, totalling 650,000, will present the traditional panorama view of Riga. From now on, each 500,000 smart tickets will offer a new photo, making an attractive series of Riga views.
The new design of the e-ticket will hopefully make it more attractive for everyday users, but for visitors of our city it may become a nice souvenir from Riga. Those collecting public transport tickets may also add the new e-tickets to their collections.
It should be reminded that there are smart tickets for 5, 10 and 20 trips, 24-hour, 3-day and 5-day tickets for one or several types of transport, as well as two-way tickets for groups of 2 or 3 persons.
Every day more than 300 trade outlets sell 12, 000 smart tickets on the average.
